It’s bad enough that mosquitoes are a danger to humans, but they can be just as harmful to our pets. Dogs, cats and even horses are all at risk of mosquito bites. Just the same with humans, these animals have a possibility of receiving a terrible disease from the bites. We love our animals as much as any other family member and these risks make it difficult to even want to take our pets outside. More
Got Bites?
Sometimes mosquito season creeps up on us and purchasing repellent to protect ourselves is the last thing on our minds. Most people don’t pick up repellent until after they’ve already been a victim of mosquito bites. The next few days will be consumed by annoying itchy red welts, but don’t feel defeated yet! There are plenty of solutions to soothe and even heal the bites faster.
Mosquito Magnet
Imagine a gingerly hike with your best friend. The sun is shining, the trees are green and the two of you are working up a great sweat. Here Come the Bugs!
A mother takes her little boy out for a picnic in the park on a warm spring day. A few days later the boy comes down with the flu. She keeps the boy in bed due to his high fever, chills and pounding head. Three days go by and the flu still hasn’t gone away, the mother starts to worry more, she contemplated making a doctor’s appointment. The next morning the little boy is lying in bed with a blank, un-responsive stare. The panicked mother calls 911. The boy starts mumbling about school, basketball and dinosaurs.
